Our Transportation Infrasructure is BROKEN!

We must repair our disfunctional transportation system through regional cooperation

Anyone who has had to suffer through a commute using the  over capacity and underserviced METRO System or using our over-congested highway and road system knows that our public transportation infrastructure is simply BROKEN!

We have less free time for ourselves and our families and our idling cars and trucks are having significant pollution impacts on our environment. The only way we can repair this dysfunctional system is through REGIONAL COOPERATION. We must work closely together with our neighbors in Washington DC and Northern Virginia to remedy this major quality of life issue. I support the following initiatives

  • Extending the Red Line to Germantown

  • Building an Outer Artery Based Purple Line Connector

  • Building a second crossing over the Potomac River

  • Expanding the MARC to operatate more like the VRE. So more affordable housing is available a short train ride away.
